Heather S asked:
My 2 little kittens are only like 2 lbs a piece and I feed them every day. They just won’t grow and they still look like little baby kittens. Why aren’t they getting bigger? I can hold them one in each hand.
I have wormed them every month, they are just regular old house cats. They both are long hair. They don’t look skinny like they were malnourished just small and short.

I have 3 kittens that need to be rehomed. They are approx 5 weeks. How old do they have to be before I rehome them and seperate them from each other?

I wanna trim my kittens’ claws because when they play, their claw always seem to get caught on the carpet and they continue to twist about. Im afraid they’ll break a bone, what should be done?

Neuro asked:
Is it even normal? I mean I’ve heard dogs that have it, but what about 1.5 month old kittens? I’ve got a single kitten living with her mom, and she has started eating solids. She has developed this vicious attitude towards her food. If I move my hand close to her, she strats growling menacingly and slashing at my hand, and when i hand feed her she attacks my hand (and the food). The thing is basically psycho, and I’d like her to stop. I’ve considered stroking her while she eats, although that seems to set her off even more, but thought it might cease after a while, so does anyone have anything?

I have 2 kittens brother and sister, just over 5 mnths old. The female has just come into heat but the vet says I cant have them neutered until they are 6 mnths old which is 2 wks away. I do I stop them mating without having toshut them up in seperate rooms for 2 wks whihc isn’t practical. Do male kittens come into heat later than females or does it vary?

c8j2h2 asked: I know it probably is illegal to do this with human babies or children, but can I be responsible for dumping kittens on the street, I’m not sure if this is a crime or not. My cat had them yesterday and I’m hoping someone will just pick them up from an alley or something? Maybe I can put them in a cardboard box with the word “Free” on it?
I have no use for kittens, one cat is enough.
I live in Arlington, Texas, if that helps you.
I left the kittens on the corner of Abrams and North Cooper in Arlington, a half block west of Mcdonald’s. They are in a cardboard box and have a sign that says free on it.

I have two momma cats and six kittens living in a room of my house(don’t ask–it’s only temporary). Anyhow, I have a problem with the curious little ones getting behind the door, and sometimes getting pinched when I open it. It’s happened a few times, and I’ve felt really bad about it. I worry so much about stepping on one of them, because they run all over the place, and hide in odd spaces. How can I prevent my kittens from hanging around behind the door? No sick answers, please. I don’t appreciate it, and I will report them.

Katrina C asked:
We have one older cat and 2 younger kittens. The kittens use the litter box when we are awake at home but everyday when I go to work or wake up in the morning they have pooped or peed on the floor. I scold them and put them in the litter box but they just keep going around the house but only when we are not around to see. I’m about to have a baby soon so I cannot have them making a mess all over the house but I also do not want to get rid of them. Any suggestions?

Help please! I have never taken care of cats before. I rescued two kittens from the rubbish bin that were approx 4 days old. I feed them kitten formula in small amounts every three hours or so. Amazingly they are still alive and growing fast. The vet says they are healthy but very small. Any suggestions on how and when I should switch to babycat nibbles? Someone recommended Royal Canin?? Do I mix them with the milk, or go straight to water? If you can, please tell me how to make this change. They are now three weeks old. When’s a good time to start? Thanks - Trying to be a good mother cat!

Other than taking it to the vet. My cat is soon close to having kittens and i heard that if you count how many nipples she has then divide by two that is how many kittens she is going to have. If that is right then she is going to have 4, but she only ever had 2 at a time. ?!? Is there anyway to find out?
and to Kathy i don’t know what your problem is but I love my cats and wtf you did not answer my question. thanks for nothing.
