saphirehon asked:
We have two cats and we live in a small apartment. I love the cats but hate the smell. I clean the litter box every day, but yet there is the awful smell. I have purchased air freshners, litter box crystals, baking soda and tried different litter. Is there a type of food that would reduce the kitty smell? Or what litter works best for you? Or what air freshner cuts the smell the most? Help!

Sometimes after eating, Spot will make the same motions that she makes after she poops. Do cats bury uneaten food, or does she hate the canned stuff from Wal*Mart?

thefinalresult asked: And it’s more difficult for shelters to adopt out cats than dogs. Why?
My three local shelters, SPCA, Humane Society, city pound all tell me the same that cats go less and slower than dogs and that big dogs go slower than small dogs.
Is it just that cats are considered disposable and that’s why there are so many more?

Amy D asked:
I have had the cats for 2 years and got the dog about 7 months ago. They do not get along. Any suggestions? The dog wants to play but the cats are scared to death or him. I have a gate across the stairs so the dog can’t get to them and they don’t have to be stressed all day worrying about the dog.

~*~Sweetly Orginal~*~~ asked: I own a female kitten, Christine, and I have 2 male kittens, Sylvestor, who is my brother’s kitten, and Junior, who was the runt of the litter and he’s my kitten. So, I’m wondering, how old does a kitten have to be to go into heat? I want to know so I can keep Christine away from Junior and Sylvestor.
Note - Christine is the older of the 3 kittens.

H3 asked:
How old should the kitten be before switching to kitten food? Her mommy cat seems to be getting tired and crabby all the time so I wonder if the kitten should start eating on its own. She’s a month old now and has started to run and play so she needs a lot of energy. Thanks and happy holidays to all!

libbybellino asked:
My kitten attacks my plant and she/he has already broke 3 of my leaves off my plant and is scratching or tearing apart one of my leaf that is still attached to the plant. We put the kitten in the bathroom for 5 minutes and it doesn’t seem to work. We don’t want to hit the kitten, we just want the kittn to learn on its own without us hitting it and yelling at it. Please, we need some advice!!! Thank you!

I have a choice between 2 bengal kittens but not sure which is best. I have read the Bengal Standards (show standards) but in a kitten its sort of hard to tell what to look for since they are only about a month old right now. What should I look for specifically?
