Cats and Kittens

Don’t hate me for this question. My friends cat has had 5 litters of kittens with different stray cats. The cat was fine every time. How is that so much easier?
The cat was outdoor so they didn’t know she was going to have kittens. After the five litters they decided to spay her. Every kitten the cat has was taken very good care of and either kept of given to one of their other family.

Seriously, I will wake up sometimes with a mouth full of hair. Or I will start suffocating in the middle of the night and wake up to find this tremendous weight on my nose. Why do cats do this? I tried sleeping on my side and it doesn’t matter. Sometimes even the neighbor’s cats break in through the basement and sleep on top of me. What’s the deal?

The outside cats are peeing on my bushes, apparently to let my inside cats know they are there. In return, my inside cat is peeing by the doors to answer them. How do i stop the outside cats from spraying my bushes? Without hurting them of course. Any plants or smells they dislike?

What can I do to help stray cats? I’m getting married and moving in a month and a half, and I doubt my parents will continue leaving food out (which I am considering doing but I don’t want them to become dependent and then I leave and there is no more food everyday). How does one go about trapping cats, especially one that has babies? I’m afraid of losing track of the kittens if the mom gets trapped. Also, where can I find traps, and how much are they to rent/buy? I’m going to try and find an organization that may do this as well, I live in Central NJ if anyone knows of anything. There is an SPCA but I don’t know if they go out and catch animals.

The kittens are VERY tiny but walking/running capable already ~ 4 weeks? I’m thinking they are living close by, hopefully under the porch.

My neighbors are adopting two of my cats because we have too many. They don’t live to close, so the cats probably won’t come back to my house. What should I request to my neighbors to help the cats adjust? Should they keep them in a room for a few days or something like that?

We have a cat that is about a year old and just got a kitten that is 12-13 weeks old. The issue we are having is that the kitten seems to have attached itself to our other cat. Everywhere our older cat goes, the kitten is right on his heels. We have to hold are kitten just for the older cat to use the restroom. When we separate the two cats, the kitten just whines and whines and whines. If she can’t see the older cat she continues to whine. Please help with suggestions and ideas. Will this behavior soon stop? We are worried that the kitten will get into a bad habit and not be independent.

They don’t evan bury it,i’m sure i remember that cats usually like covering it up—my neighbour has got 14 cats though don’t know if they are stressed re territorial issues -by the way i love cats

Not all cats do that,but i saw many times a cat tried to run
accross the street while the car was coming close,not before.
