I adopted a 4 yr old cat last yr who is very independent and I know she’d be really jealous if I adopted a kitten. I have an option to try to adopt a kitten, if it doesn’t work out there is another family that can take it, but would make it a barn cat. If I took it it’d be an indoor only cat. I feel guilty for my current cat bringing a kitten into the house. Our current cat is so well behaved too, scared that the kitten could turn out to be a brat by scratching our furniture and stuff. Have you ever been in this situation? What did you do?

I just got a new 6 week old kitten yesterday (from a shelter), and I was wondering if she is old enough to give treats to. Like the soft treats that cats go crazy for. Is there a certain age that cats can be given treats.

Also I need help naming her. She is white with large black spots, and her nose is black. Her personality is like most kittens, playful and curious.

Two weeks ago I rescued a three month old kitten fro
the local shelter. Since then I don’t think I have gotten 8hours straight of sleep. I’ve asked around with friends with cats and googles stuff but nothing I try seems to work. She doesn’t stay on her bed and when I pick her up to put her on her bed she just scratches and bites at my hands. How do I teach and or discipline her to go to bed?

Please please help I’m desperate.

I got my 5- 6 week old kitten from my friend. (Her mother sadly died). I am aware kittens are meant to be playful and active because they are like little children but my kitten is really crazy. She jumps and runs a lot, climbs walls, curtains, scratches and bites everyones feet and hands. She is so hyperactive that one day she injured herself on the stairs so that makes us even more reluctant to take her out of her room. She doesn’t use her scratching post or play with her toys. Help!

Kayleigh asked:

I have a 3 month old kitten and an 11 year old cat. Both of them like to eat little and often so their feeding bowls are always out. They both enjoy dry biscuits and recently I’ve noticed that the kitten will push the big cat out of her way so she can get to his food, he then just wanders over to her food.
Is it important that she’s eating the right sort of food for her age? She really seems to prefer adult cat food.

Windom Earle asked:

I think I’ve found a new species of animal. I found it outside this morning and I think it belongs to the cat family. It’s smaller than a typical house cat, but has a long tail and its ears are kind of pointy. It seems to really like climbing trees like my housecat, Angel Tiddle Toes, does.

I offered it some cat food, and it did nibble it, but I saw it later this morning with an acorn! Angel Tiddle Toes won’t touch acorns, so I think it must be a different breed of cat.

Has anyone else seen this type of animal, or should I call the local TV stations? Do you think I could make some money from finding this new species?

I am allergic to cats, and I read that Persian Cats will not cause allergies even if you have cat allergies. Is this true? If not, what cat doesn’t cause allergies?
I also read that Siberian Cats will not cause allergies, or in other words are non-allergetic.
Is this also true?
