6 month kitten health concern :(?
I think something may be wrong with my 6 month old kitten. I woke up this morning and he wasn’t walking straight, his nose is dry, then I looked at his eyes and they are partially closed, I’m still trying to figure out how much water intake he’s having, if any at all. What worries me the most is his body is cold and he hasn’t been running around, like he usually does, so I’m not sure if he’s cold because something’s wrong or if it’s because he’s been inactive all day.
The part I’m also unsure about is lately I have been feeding him just dry cat food and not our wet/dry mix. He’s been eating the dry cat food, but I wondered if it wasn’t really feeding him, so I gave him some wet food and he scarfed it down in less than 3 minutes.
So now I’m at a waiting point to see if maybe he just needed some real food or if maybe he ate something bad he found around the house. Any ideas?

What good is “waiting”? All the things you’re describing point to a SERIOUSLY ill kitten. GET HIM TO A VET. If you wait he JUST MIGHT DIE.

Okay, so start feeding him wet food 2x a day (morning and night). Don’t give too much, but not too little. Kittens need to eat a lot, and I have a 5 1/2 month kitten (boy) who eats a lot. So i’m guessing that kittens at that age need to eat like babies need to eat.
Dont give too much food at once because that isnt good for him. he is probably eating dry food because he is so hungry.
Feed him 2x a day and see how he is for the next 2-3 days, (be sure to change the water so its constantly fresh). Also check is he is pooping well. (my kitten had consipation a while back). If he isn’t better in a couple days, I think you should take a visit to the vets. I also suggest keeping him in a warm place (not hot because they have fur and that keeps them warm).

Not walking straight is a huge concern!
No matter what he should be checked by your vet tomorrow. Ask about testing for toxoplasmosis.
Until you can get to the vet in the morning it’s important to keep him warm. Check his temp rectally. If it’s less than 100F start warming towels in the dryer & replacing them often.
If it’s less than 98 get to the ER vet ASAP!
You have to be very careful if using a heating pad. It can go under the pillow in a cat bed but cats skin burns very easily so I don’t recommend using one any other way.
Best wishes.
