Can a kitten get sick from eating the christmas tree needles?

as long as i have had cats, they have always ate christmas tree needles, and we fixed that by putting gifts all around the tree, and putting u a toy train. Dolly

when you see there is needles on the floor sweep them up or vacuum also try putting a little gate around it if you don’t mind that. she might just like the smell of them, jessiemj1990@sbcglobal.net

You can’t really get her to stop, as the needles kind of smell like catnip. She’ll be fine. It’s just a tree. Claire B

well,i would be careful i was watching this vet show on animal planet and it showed a cat that ate a tree needle and good thing they got there just in time. if it seeps through the stomach and goes into the intestines it could of punctured it and could of killed it. if i were you i would check it into a visit to the vet just to be safe and watch the cat very closely brianaroxyursox
