They get themselves out of some tricky situations, that’s for sure. I had a cat go missing and 3 weeks later we found him. He had lost an eye and had cuts all over him…we think he got into a fight with another cat. He was pretty much dead but he made a complete recovery. IMO, cats just have a great strength to live and adapt well in most situations. They are nimble and cautious. KBradley
Only if you don’t count leap year lives. They are generally hardy though. Honestly it depends on traffic, luck, and the number of Cat-Killing Nuts in the Neighborhood. Walter G
Cats don’t have really 9 lives. They have 1, though there lifespan is about 0-18 years. So, it only has 1 life, but 18 years of possibly living. maroon5s_queen
Yeah they definetly do if not more! My family has spent $3000 on my cat in vet bills from just accidents he has had like once he was poisoned and he only had 10% chance of living and he lived! He got hit by a car, got attacked by dogs everything you name it! AND NO WE DID NOT BEAT THIS CAT HE WAS JUST A TROUBLE MAKER!!! Breezy
Well, I don’t know? I mean they can get themselves out of some pretty silly situations. Cats are kinda like slinkies that just spring around and never get caught. ;p
Although it is just meant to be an expression, it seems pretty true in some cases!! pinkcandy66
