My cat bends his legs only when laying down not sitting.Your cat must be double jointed…lol

Chris,
I am assuming that you are referring to what we call “The fat, lazy man position” ??? We love to see our cats do that.
Generally, when our cats assume the sitting on their backs with all 4 feet in front of them, they are taking a break from grooming their tummies or the front sides of their hind legs.
It is a amusing and I think it is great that you pay so much attention to your 4 legged friend! Mom of Will

If you are saying what I think you are saying, like a cat upright fetal position? My one cat does that when she is sick or not feeling well.. she puts her head down and sits just the way you described. Has she been acting OK other wise? GOOD LUCK presouzKitty
