How can I get my cat to like my new kittens?
My cat was a stray for 3 years of her life and doesn’t like other cats. Now she is 10 and we just got three new kittens. When we bring them near she will hiss at them, what should I do? I keep the kittens separate from her and I knew she didn’t like other cats before I got them, but an organization needed me to foster for them so I said yes. Right now they are kept in a small room, but are growing fast they will need more space, but my cat won’t let us. Please help.
What would happen if I left her alone with them? She barley gets to see them because she will hiss and walk away, How will she get used to them???

Eventually she will get use to them. It will take time. strawberryice_lb

The same happened with my cat and dog, and since my dog is so nice, he just runs away from my cat!
But you just wait, it goes away with time. Mary F

Cover your kittens in catnip every 3 hours. This works I used to be a kitten breeder. ΔΧ

you will have to let them out eventually. they may not like each other, but they will learn to get along. make suer they have their own food and water dishes, and maybe even litter boxes? you cant let your cat control you haha! jaicie2005
