You can't do that. If one cat has been there before the others then it's there place. It'll think Its a threat to him/ her. Same thing if kittens all grew up in one house, They will get along with eachother, but will be insulted and threatend that the new cat is going to take there place. No joke. Just let them adjust to it themselves. And makesure they don't fight, cause it gets pretty viciuos, and can lose chunks of fur and skin. Especialy if one cat has claws and the other is defenceless cause it doesn't. Hope all goes well 4 ur cats :)

There are sprays available that contain a certain "pheromone" that makes the cats "like" each other or other people or DOGS, even. Well, it's not like magic, but it's sort of like "kitty cologne" that cats react positively to. You can find these in a good pet supply store, or online. Use as directed, and it may just help them "over the hump" in getting comfortable with others.

Me... kittyslave23... I know my place.

We need more input! How long have they been together?

Temporary isolation is sometimes a good solution but never a long term solution.

Your cat needs to be out around the other 2 cats. It's natural for her to puff up her tail, growl and hiss. It's all a part of the making friends routine. All cats go threw this when a new comer is brought into the house. But, they have to be around each other so that they can make friends.

Give it a few more days and I'm sure soon they will all get along eventually.

You're not going to do it by locking her away in a room away from them. let all of them roam the house. They aren't going to hurt each other. She's just letting them know she's not afraid of them. She'll be fine once you let her out of that room
