If one cat has been there before the others then it's there place. It'll think Its a threat to him/ her. Same thing if kittens all grew up in one house, They will get along with eachother, but will be insulted and threatend that the new cat is going to take there place. No joke. Just let them adjust to it themselves. And makesure they don't fight, cause it gets pretty viciuos, and can lose chunks of fur and skin. Well, it's not like magic, but it's sort of like "kitty cologne" that cats react positively to. You can find these in a good pet supply store, or online. It's natural for her to puff up her tail, growl and hiss. It's all a part of the making friends routine. All cats go threw this when a new comer is brought into the house.
