How can I keep stray cats away from my house and cars?
My cat has always been an outdoor one and I always kept his food dish and water outside, around my front door. I recently moved to a new part of town and I continued keeping his food outside, but now its attracted several cats. Sometimes I walk outside to find over 8 cats running around my yard. I even find cat paw marks all over my windshield. What can I do to keep these strays away, and off my car?
I have two German Shepards, but I keep them in the backyard.

Get a dog. or shoot the cats, or keep your cat indoors.

Orange! Cats hate the smell of orange, if you rub an orange on anything, they will stay away from it; it really is that simple.
I would suggest moving this food indoors for a bit and line your garden and car with orange, and then when the other cats have got the message, he can have his food outside again.

Do your dogs get along with the cat? If so try moving the cats food closer to the dogs, just make sure the dogs cant get the food.
I had a cat they came around in the summer and piss under my shed. I got motion sensor and hooked it up to a auto sprinkler. That cat did it twice and never came back.

Simple solution to this problem. Go to a local sporting goods store and buy a BB gun and when they come around go outside and shoot them with it. Won’t harm them or anything but you won’t see them again. Also I recommend keeping the cat inside.
