How do I get my cats to stop attacking guest?
Every time i have someone come over my cats attack them by jumping on them and clawing at there crotch. They don’t do it to me, they just curl up into a ball on me and purr all day, but then someone else walks through the door and its psych nut clawing cat. Any advise.

teengirl94I had a couple of cats that did the same thing.
When they would attack a guest they would get squirted with a squirt bottle, and when a guest would come over and they would not attack, I would have the person reward them with a treat.
Soon they learned guests meant treats.

Lo DWhen my cats used to jump on the counters I’d have a spray bottle and spray them. It worked. I read when they do something bad, to spray them rather than hit or yell at them and act like its nothing. Kinda just walk by and spray without even acknowledging them. I think its a little different since yours are attacking and not just on the counter but it may work. Hope it helps

YooohoooI don’t understand why cats would attack just one guest, as your question reads, but then your question refers to “them,” so that is confusing. Perhaps if you could clarify so people could understand if your cat is attacking only one person or many guestS, plural, someone could adviSe you with some adviCe.
