How do I get my kitten to stop chewing on the other kitten?

I have recently acquired 2 kittens, I’m guessing about 5-6 weeks old. My brother had been taking care of them, but due to circumstances, I have taken over their care. They are in the process of being weaned, and can eat dry and/or canned food. One of the kittens however keeps chewing on the other kitten’s leg. I don’t want to seperate them, but I don’t want the other to continue this habit either. There are now open sores on the smaller ones legs where the larger one has been chewing on it when I haven’t been able to catch it. Any suggestions?

Get some bitter apple extract from the pet store; put it on the leg that’s being chewed. It tastes awful to cats, and the chewer will probably leave the chewee alone pretty quickly

The best thing is to seperate them, or call the vet and get some advice……

Try some bitter apple on the leg. You can get it at Petsmart or Petco or lots of smaller pet stores.

I have 2 ideas the first is every time you see the kitten chewing spry him with water but don’t let him see you do it. the 2nd idea is get an empty paper towel tube and put beans in it and tape something over both ends and when you see him chewing shake it and the noise might startle him. there again don’t let him see you do it because they will relate the noise and the spray to you and think you might be hurting them. You want the kittens to have good thoughts about you

what i think you should do is spray or do something every time he does it. dont let him see you because he canthen do it when your out. make him think it will happen wenever he bits the othe kitty. Makesure u do somethin the cat wont like, like cats dont like getting bathed i water.also if its something u dont like u do anything to avoid it
