How do I introduce our new cat to our dogs, with no injuries to all parties?
We have 2 dogs and we used to have a cat, that was really old and sick and passed on.
Since then our dogs have started chasing cats
Our new guy is the sweetest little boy and want him and the dogs to get used to each other, without anyone (mainly the cat) getting hurt.
Any ideas?

Present the cat to the dogs for a while and monitor their behavior. If they are hostile hold the cat and present it to the dogs every day for a little in order to get gradually accustomed. You will check the dogs behavior if it is improved.therwise consult a dog trainer.

Being pack animals, your dogs viewed your previous cat as a member of the family pack and they all shared a “communal” scent. It’s not unusual for dogs to get along well with their own household’s cats, whilst chasing away others. It’s important to handle the introductions slowly so that they will view your new cat as a pack member.
These links have lots of information and advice on introducing cats and dogs, which you may find helpful.
Hope it all works out. Good luck.

dont under estimate the cats ability to shred the dogs noses. the dogs are in just as much danger.
keep in separate rooms for a few weeks, introduce slowly, with supervision.

Rub a towel on the cat then bring it to the dogs to sniff. After they have smelled it bring the cat in a crate to greet the dogs. Let the dogs sniff the crate once the dogs stop having a huge interest in the crate (which could take a few hours) let the cat our but keep it in your lap don’t let the dogs get very close after the dogs have calmed down again let the cat go. Get onto your dogs if they start chasing the cat or if the bark at the cat. Praise them for leaving it alone.
See the end result?
