very easy a water bottle filled with water and a tablespoon of vinegar.they hate it.

There are different ways to go about solving this problem:

1) Attach smartie tubes to their legs…then they won’t be jumping.
2) Grease your end tables with oil or butter…then they’ll slide right off again.
3) Keep them in a different room wehn you’re not around.

Two things you can do.
Get a few bottles and fill them with tap water and put them along the table to make sure they don’t jump up when you are not around. Kittens don’t like the reflection of the water bottles and that will definitely stop them jumping on the table.
The second thing you can do is to get some sticky tape and put long the table where they are likely to jump on up the table. make sure the sticky is on top and when they jump on the tape, they will not like sticky stuff on their little paws.
After a while they will get the message.

Please don’t use the spray bottle.
According to my Vet that is the worst thing to use to train to train a kitten.
If the kitten would get sprayed in the face it can cause an over abundance of yeast in their ears, eyes and nose which will result in a trip to the Vet for medication.
He also said that over time the cats won’t associate the spray bottle with the bad behavior they will associate it with you, which and lead to trust issue down the road.
He said the best thing to do…and it works like a charm is…everytime you see the kittens on the coffee table clap your hands and say “NO” very loudly and firmly.
Or instead of clapping your hands get a can and put pennies in it and shake that before telling them no.

A water bottle is a great way to train a cat not to behave in ways that you don’t approve. Just don’t spay them in the face. There are also a variety of plants that most cats do not like to be near. These could help discourage your cat from jumping up on the tables and could also work when you aren’t home.

Cats will also avoid cayenne pepper, coffee grounds, pipe tobacco, lavender oil, lemon grass oil, citronella oil, eucalyptus oil and mustard oil. Orange and Lemon peels are supposed to work too. Maybe citrus cleaners?

Just be careful when choosing a plant. Scaredy Cat, Scardy Plant is actually a poisonous plant if your cat (or kids) should manage to eat it.

take a rolled up news paper and whack the crap out of them when they jump up on them the next time also try the boot mehod. hey it works and they get a free birds eye view of the room

Everytime they jump on the table, squirt them with a water bottle, they’ll evetually learn, it’s effective

Put them in a carrier at nite or lock them in the bathroom or something… not to sure what else to do
