Please do NOT use moth balls. They are harmful to cats!

--There are a number of repellent sprays or powders you can buy that you spray/spread throughout the yard. I'm sure an Internet search would turn up at least a few.
--Steep garlic or citrus in water, strain the liquid, add a few drops of liquid soap to act as a spreader/sticker, and then spraying throughout the yard. Repeat after watering and rain.
--Many cats seem to dislike lavender, so planting a few might make your yard less attractive to cats. (However, they may just dodge them.)
--The Coleus canina plant was introduced recently from Germany. Plant them about 30 inches apart along the perimeter of your yard. (May not necessarily work, but it may be worth the effort to find out .)
--Install an ultrasonic animal repeller. They are thought to be undetectable by humans but unpleasant to a cat’s ears.
--Install a motion activated water spray to startle the cats and scare them off.
--Try installing some sort of barrier.
--If you have a sand box, keep it covered when not being used. just another yahoo ID

Go to your local green house/home improvement store and ask them for a cat repellant. It has cinnamon and stuff in it and cats hate it. I'm sorry that I cannot remember the name of it.... if all else fails mothballs work too but stink highly! thesmartone

Put moth balls in the areas that you have seen the cat go, or pepper. That usually works. Butch.
