How do you soothe kittens and gain their trust?
We found a couple of kittens in a house nearby and my cousins are interested in keeping them. We have tried to gain their trust by giving them food but it hasn’t worked.

Time.
They will naturally be scared, but after spending time with you, they’ll warm right up. After all, they’re so new to the world, they don’t trust everything yet. :)*mmm_cookies*

You are doing the right thing. Is mama cat still involved with them. You might want to make friends with mama too.how many cats are there altogether? If there are just the two cats you might want to prepare a cage and bring them to your house. If mama is with them, what she can give in the way of breast milk is priceless. Can you bring all of them over?
Think about what you feel is best for the kittens and for the mom.. If you interfere with where she placed her babies she may move them. Then you will have a difficult time finding them again. Give this a lot of thought and research then do what you decide is best for the cats.queenjeanarlene
