Britni asked:

We have a cat and her four kittens, and they are all a little over a week old. They have their eyes open, and they are really cute, but the claws hurt. When will they start to retract them?

sometime between 3 -4 weeks after birth.

After a few weeks they should naturally retract. But they will always use them when they are uncomfortable with what’s going on. They will continue to not know how to use them properly until about 4-6 months.
