		<description>it really varies there is no real answer but 2 in uncommon. I had 2 cats who had ktitens at a year, one had 5 and one had 6. They were a from a litter of 5 themselves. A lot of cats have 4. I hear 2-6 is normal.</description>

		<description>Well my cat was under 1 when she had her first kittens which is why we eventually got her fixed. She had four. I think average is around 4-6.

I've had a cat who had a litter of one, but the female was borderline retarded(not a medical diagnosis).  I've also had a cat with a stupid amount of kittens in her litter.
