Kittens need free feeding for dry food. And feed them wet food three times a day at their age, but in small portions. Depends on the kitten. I have one that only likes a tablespoon two times a day, and the other can eat a can10 times a day, but, of course he doesn't get that much.

If you only do dry food then you are doing right.

If wet, then just give them small amounts two or three times a day, depending on the kitten's energy and appetite.

Purina kitten food was ok for my other kitten, but the other one got the runs, so I don't recommend it. If your kitten's are ok with it great, but look at the ingredients, first is poultry by products and nothing else worth giving to your kittens..

I feed my kittens three varities of dry food so they get the best, and no by products for the first or second or third ingredient.

Kittens are growing, they need to have fresh food and water available at all times. They need small frequent meals and your continuous feeder is providing that for them. If your kittens are healthy, energetic and not overweight you are doing a great job! Don't change a thing!

1/2 cup every 2-4 hours, make sure they arent stealing each others food, kittens have a tendancy to do that sometimes.
I think the feeder is a good mthod, especially good that u are using kitten food.

ooo. i don't think thats too good. ok. lemme give you an example. i give you your favorite food ever. 4 pounds of it. how much are you gonna eat? as much as you can. so thats probably what your kittens are doing, unless they don't like it that much. stuffing themselves up. its dry food right? well, i think you should feed them 4 teaspoons of dryfood probably. i work at an spca, and for kittens, they have these little 2 inch by 1 inch cardboard containers, and they're 1 inch high. so i would usually feed them like 2 teaspoons for one cat, and 2 teaspoons for the 2 teaspoons for the other.

My vet recommends having food always for cats unless they are overweight. If you aren't worried about there weight then I would just let the feeder stay full.
