How to get rid of cat smell in house?
We just got two kittens, and we already have a cat. The cat goes outside, but because the kittens don’t know the area, we want to keep them in for now. The entire room they are in smells like cat poo and pee, along with the surrounding halls. I don’t know what to do. Any home remedies/products will do, I just don’t want my house smelling like crap!
I don’t want to get rid of the cats.

I heard ‘room shocker’ is quite good, but you might get some more opinions on it, because I haven’t used it myself. irockj0rsockz

Scoop the pan often, use oder eliminating litter(Fresh Step), spray with Febreze often and keep a scented plug in(Glade Scented Plugin) or 2 in the cat pans room. ♡✄ⓐ♬♀

If they are using the litter box, there should be no reason for odor if the litter is changed often enough. It is better to keep you cats indoors because when outside they can pick up diseases, get in fights, eat something that could be bad for them, get hurt by other animals, run over by vehicles and many other reasons they should stay indoors. Natures Miracle-Orange for cats is great. Worked at my house.
Petsmart, $8.95
Zero Odor has mixed reviews, works at a client’s house with 8 cats.
Bed Bath & Beyond $12.99
SCOE 10X!
This one claims to be better than both.
Let me know what you think! cherya7

try using tidy cats small spaces (it has an orange cap). use arm and hammer litter box deodorizer in the litter box as well. in between litter changes clean the litter box with dish soap. i recommend dawn. as for the smell in the halls use febreeze air freshener. good luck! kelly
