Is this cat that I discovered in my backyard a new species?
I think I’ve found a new species of animal. I found it outside this morning and I think it belongs to the cat family. It’s smaller than a typical house cat, but has a long tail and its ears are kind of pointy. It seems to really like climbing trees like my housecat, Angel Tiddle Toes, does.
I offered it some cat food, and it did nibble it, but I saw it later this morning with an acorn! Angel Tiddle Toes won’t touch acorns, so I think it must be a different breed of cat.
Has anyone else seen this type of animal, or should I call the local TV stations? Do you think I could make some money from finding this new species?

Wow! That is super cool! You should name it before those scientists get ahold of it. I like the name Em Adjineri myself. st.aliaoftheknife

Are you sure its not a squirrel. Sounds like it. There are grey and red ones so just maybe it is one on them. The red is larger than the grey. Mommiedearest

Did it look like this ?
Don’t believe the title, it’s really a mask to hide the fact that these species of killer wild cats are on the lose.
Wear gloves around it and keep your children/pets close-These things have no mercy. purnimacresent
