Kitten health issue I need help?
What does it mean when a newborn kitten secrets both green & white goobers from its vaginal area? its only 8days old. I work at a vet office and I have this kitty cuz it needed to be bottle fed. We have an adoption program but unfortunately the doctor doesn’t care to help me because they lose money and would rather have put them to sleep since they were so young. so now since my vet is letting me down i need advice on what is wrong with my kitty. has anyone had a simalar incident? I’m afraid to lose this little one since her sister died a few days ago after bleeding from the anus.

That sounds like an infection. I can’t believe you work at a vet clinic and the doctor won’t help you. Don’t you get a discount and can have him look at the cat for cheaper.

That’s so sad.
I would just call another vet’s office and ask what they think is the problem. Also, go to a pet store. People at pet stores always have good answers!
Hope your kitten gets well soon!

I would ask your vet about the symptoms first since he doesn’t want to see it. I don’t think he should be against giving you some advice to what it could be because he thinks you should be paying him for the advice, which is selfish. If he tells you what it could be and the treatment(s) will be costly than you have to decide if you want to pay for them since he refuses to help or maybe put it down if you can’t. Or bring it to the humane society or cat rescue and see if someone can help you and the poor kitty out.

Take it to another vet clinic. There are others out there that will help. Just call around until you can get answers. We hand raised 3 kittens and never had that issue, so it sounds like something serious that needs immediate attention.

Well, I’m no vet but it sounds like some sort of infection. What type? Hard for me to say. I’d take it to another vet or the vet clinic at your local shelter. They usually have a low cost option for people to have their animals treated. Other than that, I don’t really know what to tell you other than that your boss should be ashamed of himself. That’s a horrible attitude for a vet to have.
Good luck.

it means it is sick.
pay the money and find out what is going on with this kitten.
or put it to sleep before it suffers any further.
