There are a lot of excellent articles at in Dr. Jean Hovfe’s article library. About nutrition, behavior, cat diseases, vaccination etc. You will be quite an expert cat owner if you take the time to read them.

The kitten will be crazy. A lot of people can’t handle how crazy they are. They might bite you, scratch you, run around hitting things, jumping on things.
But you gotta know that it is a kitten. All little babies love to play. Don’t play with your hands and fingers with the kitten or you’ll get bitten. Always play with a toy with your kitten.
Also, my kitten loved to run after my feet and bite it. Maybe you need a small water spray bottle set to mist just in case that happens.
Feed it kitten food. I feed mine Royal Canin Kitten34. Try not to switch foods too much at once, it may cause diarrhea, also don’t feed it milk because the lactose or milk sugars can cause indigestion, diarrhea and vomiting. Make sure it always has access to fresh clean water.
Get your kitty dewormed. Go to the vet ask them for advise and schedule on deworming and don’t forget the basic vaccinations.
Enjoy kitten :):)

when your cat reaches 4-6 months you must have it spayed or you will end up with more kittens, cats don’t fight as much and are very homely when this procedure is done by the vet.. also it is a very good idea to have this done especially if your cat is going to be outside all the time… if the cat is staying indoors, then you will need a scratchy pole so it doesn’t claw your furniture, you can find these in a pet store, a warm bed, some toys to play with such as a old sock, squeezy mouse, feather on a stick.. all of these things can be brought from the pet store. you will also need a cat box with some cat litter in it, so it goes to the toilet in there.. good luck with your kitten, and remember to give it lots of love,

About what??
*The Basics*
-Dont let it go outside
-Keep the litter box clean because their senses(noses) are stronger then ours!
-Give a bath 1x every month so they can get use to it and not leave a 10in scratch on your arm like my cat did lol*ouch*
-Get it use to a brush
-Get it spayed unless you want babies(at the latest of 8mths old)
-Get a spray bottle for when it has “slip ups”
-Get a cat encyclopedia YOU RLY NEED IT
-Get ready to be up at night/morning
-Have the Fresh and the BEST food..i wouldnt recommend Good Life(i wouldnt get Iams heard LOTS of bad stuff about it,even their terrible testing on animals)
-Only give it snacks maybe once a week and thats it.
-And of course play with it lol=)
hmmm i dont know what else you would want…

Some tips-
-Play with him/her, so that they do not become antisocial
-I like to give my kitten Iams kitten food (until one year old)
-give them exercise
-spay or neuter
-try to make it an indoor cat if you dont want to keep giving it flea med. over and over again

Make sure that the food you are giving it is right for it’s
age group kitten, adult, senior it’s best to give them a mix of biscuits (dry cat food) and meat, you can get dry cat food that helps to keep their teeth and gums in good condition (Whiskas Vita bits is excellent)
Get it desexed unless it is a certain type of cat that you are interested in breeding
Make sure your kitten is vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas, always read back of packages for worm and flea treatment so that you know how often these have to be done
You should be able to get treatments that are suitable for kittens
GOOD LUCK!
