Is there anybody near Los Angeles (Glendora) or anywhere near here that has kittens for sale? Or possibly giving them away? My Moms cat just had to be put to sleep, so I’m thinking a new kitty will make her feel much better. Thanks

go to the apl or a local shelter. there are plenty of kittens there that need a home and they will fix them and give them their shots for you when you buy the kitten. it is cheaper to buy them there than to get one free and then pay for all that stuff.
also maybe check with your mom before you do this. sometimes people need time to get ready to introduce a new animal when they are still missing their former pet. she may not want a new cat yet.
There are a ton here. I checked its the petfinder classifieds where people list their own pets needing homes.
Click adoptable pets and chose Cali then click go.
I agree with what others have written … find a kitten/cat that NEEDS a new home as much as your mum NEEDS a new kitten/cat.
That is the one bad thing about owning a pet … is that they are only with us for such a short time and while we know that each time we get a new pet ..we always end up with a broken heart when they pass away……………………. BUT that is ONLY because we do love them as much as we do…
can you imagine a world without pets … I can’t
hope your mum is ok .
Make sure your mom wants a new cat before you get her one. She may not be to the point in her grief that she is ready for one, and with all good intentions, you don’t want to push one off on her.
If mom decides she’s ready, check with your local shelters or ASPCA centers.
I know you mean well sweetie, but please check with mum before you get her a new kitty. Sometimes it takes a little while to get over the death of a favourite pet and replacing it too quick is not always the answer. Maybe when she feels better and ready, you two could go pick one out together?

go to any animal shelter and get one , you save its life as they will kill them in a few days if no one takes them.

Try checking out Craig’s list near you - they often list kittens that people want to sell or give away.
