Cats and Kittens

I moved in with my mother and her cat, along with my two cats. Things were fine in the beginning but now the cats just pee anywhere they want to in my basement. I have three cat boxes, one for each cat and we clean them everyday. I cleaned them once and immediately after, the cat pooped in the middle of the floor anyway. Its driving us crazy and any advice on how to change their behavior would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I need to take home for fall break a homeless cat I have been feeding outside my dorm. The problem is I already have three cats at home and I know cats do not take to one another easily. How can I help my cats accept this stranger? Also, can you train a grown cat to use the litter box? How?

I have a big family with lots of kids and little kids. Ages 2-18. And some adults too. I’m one of the kids. We have two dogs and we are getting a cat today. The cat was found by a family as a stray and now we are adopting her from that family. We believe the cat is deaf. She is about 5 years old.
We took the cat home for about an hour a few days ago and the cat pretty much spent the whole time hiding. The dogs and the kids did pretty good.
Can we have some advice on how to introduce the cat to the house and everyone and how to introduce the kids to the cat?

I’m moving into an appartment soon and I haven’t told them about my cats because there is nonrefundable deposit for each cat plus a monthly fee for each cat. Does anyone have any advice on how to keep them a secret?
