Kira M asked: Whenever our door is open, other neighborhood cats come into our house and steal my cats food ! But even if my cat see’s the other cat eating its food it just sits there and watches, doesn’t even try to stop it. How do i stop these cats coming in?!

Celine S asked: I have a siamese cat who has a lot of digestive problems. He vomits quite often, and the hairball medications does not seem to completely get rid of the problem. Also, at 9 pounds, he could use some extra weight.
I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the best cat food to give him, so that it does not irritate his sensitive stomach.
Thanks!
a few precisions:
I adopted my cat, and the previous owner told me to use the science diet dry food. Anyway, my dear cat is so picky that he will NOT eat what is not a/ the Science Diet brand b/ chicken flavored
I am super careful about what I feed him, but somehow he still throws up… And since I am trying to make him gain weight (he’s a little too skinny), I might consider the kitten chow…

squirrel girl asked: I have a cat and am planning on getting a dog. My cat loves food and has eaten from my friend’s dog food when she was visiting. I want to get a Golden Retriever and I’ve heard they’re big on eating. How would I keep the food away from one another?

dokomo asked: on my Christian family home? They already has a stray cat they adopted (does not have a name), and now they have another cat started to come around. They were talking about shooing him/her off with a BB gun. I jokingly said they should and they told me they have talked about it! I doubt they will hurt this poor cat, but I see their point, they do not want another cat, and this cat is eating away their cat food.

Josh L asked:
I bought this “2nd Step” KMR weaning powder to mix with water like the guys at PetCo said I should do. Well the kittens aren’t big fans of it to say the least. Should I mix the powder with water and regular cat food and blend it? Their mother, Poptart, has been exhausted and I’d really like to start the kittens on their own diet. They are about 6 weeks old now.

Jennie t asked:
Today some kids came by the house asking if we wanted a kitten. I am a sucker for small animals, and have always wanted a cat, but haven’t tried to get one b/c Lizzy (my little girl) once got all sneezy when we were in a house that had cats, so I assumed she was probably allergic. However, to test it, before I accepted the cat I had her smell the cat and (yay!) no sneezing. So now we have a pet kitten (about 9 weeks old or so). I fed her half a can of tuna, some water, and a little milk earlier, because we didn’t have cat food yet. I figured that was all she would need, but now she is jumping on the table trying to eat our soup. How often DO kittens need to be fed? Also, she was scratching herself, so my husband says she may have fleas. We of course went to the pet store to get supplies for her today and all flea removing/ preventing stuff said 12 weeks or older only.
