Cats are particularly sensitive to pine oils because they lack an efficient liver enzyme system to detoxify them. Why do cat litter manufacturers use pine in this case?

I hate the smell my cat’s litterbox makes. My mom remarks whenever she comes inside the house from work when she’s gone for a few hours, she can smell the stench that is far down the hallway in our room. When I walk into my room I’m always greeted by the stench. What is a good cat litter that odor blocks really well and what are some other tips that keep the catbox from stinking?

I have a 1 1/2 year old spayed female cat who we have had since she was about 8 weeks old. Recently she has been urinating next to her litter box right after I scoop it. She only does it about 3 times after I scoop it, then she will use the box again. Why is she doing this?

She does this almost every day, leaving the kitten meowing until I go and collect it and put it back with the litter.
The kittens are less than two weeks old.
It’s not always the same kitten.
5 Kittens.
It’s actually a stray cat and I’m planning on taking her to the shelter as soon as possible.

I was given a 3-year-old sphinx cat the other month. The previous owner trained the cat on those gel sheets, and I want to retrain the cat to use a littler box instead. How can I manage that? The cat doesn’t seem to know what to do with the litter and doesn’t like the feel of littler under its toes.

We have had the cat fully checked out at the vet and are told it is behavioral. The cat box is cleaned daily and we have 4 boxes for 2 cats. We have tried Feliway diffusers to reduce stress and spend a lot of time with the cat. The only thing I have not tried yey is isolating her in a room with litter and food. Does this work? If yes, how do you transition out of the room?
