Jade asked: My sister recently moved in with 2 cats, which use a litter box. My two cats have always went outside. Now they all are peeing everywhere, even when we are right next to them. they are all fixed. the youngest cat, under a year, has started pooping everywhere. what can i do to make her stop, and we dont want her using the litter box because when my sister moves out, so does the litter box.

SALAMANDER asked: I just adopted a cat, but I can get her to stop using the bathroom on towels and clothes. She uses the litter box every once in the while but then she will stop. I have two other cats also but they use the litter box. I clean the litter box twice a day.

Zzzonkout asked: I have mice. Dammit. I need a cat. I’m going to go to the shelter tomorrow, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the best kind of cat to get. Like what breed, age, size, sex? I’m not sure if any of that makes a difference, but if you have any comments on the subject I’d appreciate it!

Arthur asked: I live in a house with 15 people and we have mice. We tried humane solutions for about a year with not good results, so we tried the poison traps, which worked beautifully. Then we got a cat to kill the mice (and because we love cats anyway). It doesn’t seem to be helping with the mice, but now we can’t use poison traps because we do not want to poison the cat inadvertently. Will the cat eventually kill all the mice, or do we need to do something more, and what should we do?

Trish asked: My animals have all had bad fleas for awhile now.
Once we noticed the fleas, mommy cat got pregnant, and kittens, and after those kittens got done nursing she got pregnant again. Now the flea problem is the worst I’ve ever seen it. Is there any way to get rid of the fleas in the less than one week old babies and their mom? Or do I have to wait until they are done nursing and hope mommy doesn’t get pregnant again?
I forgot to mention, I plan on getting her fixed when this litter is done nuring.

ApplesandBananas18 asked: My neighbor has about 15-20 stray cats outside her house that she feeds, and they like roaming into my yard. They hang out on my car and use my garden as a litterbox. Now my yard smells like cat! Any suggestions as to how to keep them out of my yard (I don’t want to put out mothballs because I have dogs and I am afraid the dogs may try to eat them and get sick)?
I have already tried:
A “liquid fence” product that worked for two days until it rained and it also smelled awful!
By the way, my dogs don’t stay out all day long, so they can only keep cats out of my yard while they are out.
Oh, and if you are asking about my “sissy dogs”, I have two Cane Corso Mastiffs.

Hayley S asked:
My Aunt is moving and needs someone to have her cats, I already have 1 cat who we took on from a neighbour. How would I go about introducing the cats to her would she run off/get jealous or fight with them? Also how long would I have to keep her cats in before they can go outside?

Navia521 asked:
I’m moving in with someone who has two cats. I have one cat. How do we get them to get along? Can you give me some good tips cuz I have never done this before?
I should add it that it wont be possible to separate them completely for a week because it’s a very small apartment and I don’t want to lock one kitty in the bathroom

glimpse of hope asked:
My cat is pregnant for the 2nd time, she had 3 kittens the first time. Are there usually more or less in the second litter?
I didn’t ask you to give me speeches on being an irresponsible owner, now did I?
