What does it mean when your cat has been having diarrhea for 4 days?

We’ve been feeding our cats friskies dry food since we’ve got them a year ago. And we also feed them friskies wet food. Well about 2 months ago we stopped the wet food. Just recently we started them back up on it. Our oldest cat hasn’t shown any signs of diarrhea, and both of our cats are indoor cats.
