My neighbors are adopting two of my cats because we have too many. They don’t live to close, so the cats probably won’t come back to my house. What should I request to my neighbors to help the cats adjust? Should they keep them in a room for a few days or something like that?

We have an adoption program but unfortunately the doctor doesn’t care to help me because they lose money and would rather have put them to sleep since they were so young. so now since my vet is letting me down i need advice on what is wrong with my kitty. has anyone had a simalar incident? I’m afraid to lose this little one since her sister died a few days ago after bleeding from the anus.
