Will asked:

A neighborhood cat is using one of our flowerbeds as a litterbox. It is a problem because it is right near our front door and every time we open the door we are greeted with the smell. Is there a way of preventing a cat from doing this? We do not have cats so we do not know what is attracting the cat to this one particular spot.

I have a 1 1/2 year old spayed female cat who we have had since she was about 8 weeks old. Recently she has been urinating next to her litter box right after I scoop it. She only does it about 3 times after I scoop it, then she will use the box again. Why is she doing this?

The kittens were 3 weeks old and disappeared overnight. We don’t know what got them. The next day a male cat was already visiting the mother cat in the barn.
She’s not our cat. She’s a stray that wandered onto our farm.
We don’t keep cats in the house. And because she’s a stray, she won’t stay put in the barn or other shelters. I guess the only option is to lock her in the garage with a litter box and hope she’s potty trained!

I was just wondering which breeds of cats are suitable for small apartments, without a ton of space? I’d have room for a litter box and such, obviously, but it’s not like the cat could run a marathon across the floor.

Searcher’s Curious Account asked:

We have one litter box that they refuse to use, and another that they use constantly (cleaned daily), and another room that they feel is their litter box. My husband is about to send the kittens to the pound if they don’t stop with the fecal messes. How do I get them to stop pooping in a room that is not their litter box?

Ryan asked:

My cats must love the material on my roof ’cause they can’t stop leaving their droppings scattered across it. What can I use to make them go back to the litter box? I’ve heard ammonia works but I don’t exactly know how to put in on the roof (spray, pour, etc.)
They get on my roof using the high wall between my backyard and my neighbors by the way.
