Lahh asked: I have an indoor cat, Max, who is almost four years old. I recently took up volunteering at my local animal shelter and I would like to be a foster parent to cats (maybe even dogs) in the shelter. Max is very VERY territorial and does not like any other animals (my cousin’s dog who we watch a lot, my friend’s cats who visit, etc.)
Is there any way to train him to be nicer? Will I never be able to foster other animals while I still have Max?

Court F asked:
I’ve read a lot about how Friskies is cheap/bad food and the more expensive, grain free brands are better. I don’t mind paying more for a brand such as Wellness, but someone cite specific benefits to feeding cats the “better” food?

H3 asked:
How old should the kitten be before switching to kitten food? Her mommy cat seems to be getting tired and crabby all the time so I wonder if the kitten should start eating on its own. She’s a month old now and has started to run and play so she needs a lot of energy. Thanks and happy holidays to all!

Goofoo asked: There are a lot of stray cats in my area. I am going to be creating a garden for the first time and I am certain that at least one of the many stray cats in the neighborhood will enjoy making my garden a toilet.
How do I keep them out? Is a Remington the only answer?

Dotty asked:
We have had the cat fully checked out at the vet and are told it is behavioral. The cat box is cleaned daily and we have 4 boxes for 2 cats. We have tried Feliway diffusers to reduce stress and spend a lot of time with the cat. The only thing I have not tried yey is isolating her in a room with litter and food. Does this work? If yes, how do you transition out of the room?
