Dumb Blonde!!! asked: I really want to adopt a cat. I’ve wanted one ever since I was a little girl. My mom wants one too, but she doesn’t know how we could take care of it. I would pay for most of the expenses. Would it be better to foster a couple of cats to see if I was able to take care of it? Should I get a cat or kitten? I am in middle school, so I know how to do stuff. I am not a stupid little kid.

Slaide2 asked:
We have 7 month old kittens, My mom though it was time to move their litter to the bathroom instead my room,But they wouldn’t do their business where the litter is. When I woke this morning they did their business in my room. How do you get them used to having their litter box in another room or I should wait a little longer or keep the litter as it.

asked: My kittens are about 4 weeks and still feeding from their mom. How old do they have to be before they can eat regular food?

Britchi16 asked:
I know some cats have problems with this, but how is it that most cats already know to go to the litter box when they have to go?
My cat’s mom never taught him to go in the ltter box, so how did he already know to go in it?

subarugirl06 asked: What can I do to help stray cats? I’m getting married and moving in a month and a half, and I doubt my parents will continue leaving food out (which I am considering doing but I don’t want them to become dependent and then I leave and there is no more food everyday). The only ones I’ve seen recently is a VERY large Tom cat, and a very small female with at least two kittens.
How does one go about trapping cats, especially one that has babies? I’m afraid of losing track of the kittens if the mom gets trapped. Also, where can I find traps, and how much are they to rent/buy? I’m going to try and find an organization that may do this as well, I live in Central NJ if anyone knows of anything. There is an SPCA but I don’t know if they go out and catch animals.
The kittens are VERY tiny but walking/running capable already ~ 4 weeks? I’m thinking they are living close by, hopefully under the porch.

cinnamen911 asked: My cat had kittens roughly 2 weeks ago. She had two and one died after three days. It had extremely white, almost yellow gums and tongue and then is appeared to seizure and die. Because of where I live a vet was not an option.
The kitten left is 2 weeks old and seems healthy. She is growing and has gained weight, but today I noticed her gum color was a really pale pink. She is warm and being a 2 week old kitten sleeps most of the day. She does climb around when the mom goes in but hasn’t been nursing as much as usual. I would like to do the pinch test but because she is so small there I’m scared to try and besides that there is not much skin there.

Zach C asked:
My cat is almost two years old, and she keeps urinating on my mom’s rug and in my bedroom. She usually goes in her litterbox but she has been going more and more on the rugs recently. My mom says that if she does it again she will throw the cat outside! The cat has no front claws so she can’t defend herself. I tried reasoning with my mom but she said she doesn’t care! How can I get the cat to stop?
