After several incidents of catching neighbors doing mean things to my cat, including throwing firecrackers at him, I want to start keeping my cat indoors full time to protect him. However, he is used to being an outdoor cat and is very unhappy being kept inside. He cries at the door and sits in the window yowling. He is getting very agitated. He is neutered but still loves to go outdoors. I don’t want to make him feel like a prisoner, but I have sadists for neighbors. How can I help my cat adjust to living indoors? What are some things I can do to help him not be so bored and unhappy inside?

My Cat was killed on my property by a neighbors dog, is there any legal action?

This cat was killed in Michigan. I know that the dog could potential be put down or labeled as a dangerous animal if it had: bit a human or killed another dog. There is nothing that holds water regarding the killing of a cat. Is my only right to take them to civil court and seek the market value of a calico cat?? It doesn’t seem right!

What prevents cats from pooping on my roof?

My cats must love the material on my roof ’cause they can’t stop leaving their droppings scattered across it. What can I use to make them go back to the litter box? I’ve heard ammonia works but I don’t exactly know how to put in on the roof (spray, pour, etc.)
They get on my roof using the high wall between my backyard and my neighbors by the way.

My Girl Friend Found the Cat in a field near a heavily Traveled Road, and We searched for kittens, with no Success.
out of fear of leaving kittens Behind, we just left Some Cat Food, and would just keep putting cat food out for her while we Asked Neighbors if they were Missing Cat( we Do not Have Many Neighbors Out Here).

2 Days Later, a whole flock of Kids Scoured the Field for the Kittens (Field is Next to A School Bus Stop), with no success, and one of the kids mom took the cat Home, and she started calling Neighbors as Well, with no Success.
My Girl friend wanted the cat, so we contacted the person who had taken her, and got her from them.
We took the cat home, and she does not meow like she wants her kitten, in fact she has moved right in.

Thank you

Neighbor’s cats are using my garden as their litter box. Do you have a way to discourage them?

Next door neighbors have 5 cats. There are many more in my neighborhood and they all roam free. I have a dog but my yard is not fenced so he cannot be outside unless I am with him. I have motion sensor lights that turn on when a cat enters my yard and I go out and throw water on them which works when I am home or not asleep. I cleaned uo 30 “piles” this week!!! Help!

My cat loves people but I work 40 hours a week and would like to get him a friend.
I’m pretty sure he hates all Male cats. When the Neighbors male cat comes to the sliding glass door my cat attacks the glass trying to get at the other cat.

But I think he might be ok and even like a Female cat. But how do I test this? I would hate to have to take a cat back to the pound.

I got him from the humane society at 5 years old, declawed in front. For all I know he has always been an only cat and likes it that way. But I feel bad when he is home alone.
Yes I would only get another declawed cat. Already declawed that is. I would not have that done to a cat but if I can find one that needs a home then thats great.
Yes he is fixed and any cat I would get would be fixed as well.
