Cats and Kittens

I am looking into bringing a new cat into my home soon. I have a female cat though, she’s 2 1/2. I got her when she was about 5 months, and up until then she had lived with other cats. She is an outdoor cat and plays with other cats when she’s not home, but as soon as they get close to the home, she becomes very territorial, which females tend to do. Would she be more welcoming to a male cat?

We just adopted a new cat, and he is very large and has the hugest set of eyes and nose I have ever seen on a domestic at. This cat is huge and muscular. I know he is not a purebred, but figured he must be a mix of a very large cat breed, and couldnt find anything with his facial build on the internet. Any ideas?

Hello there,a couple of months ago my wife and myself decided to give a stray cat we had been feeding a home as he started to come regularly to our house.
After a few weeks of teathing problems, such as our new family member not being acustomed to using a cat litter tray (which he has figured out now), also having to go out and carry him in the house rather than him coming in of his own accord when hes out (he has now realised that our home is now his home too and he comes in himself now). The only real problem is that we already have an older cat (who is a bit spoiled) and he sort of rules the roost. Our new cat is only about a year old the vet tells us, and our older cat is about 8 years old. Both male cats seem quite afraid of each other as both go out of there way to avoid each other, but when they do end up in the same area they both start to get very nervous and spit and growl at each other with our older cat being the worst culprit, is there a way to help them get along better?

I have a young cat and I’m moving away. Sadly, my cat can’t come with me and she is going to go live with my mother who already has two older cats, one is very skittish and the other is very bossy. We don’t want anyone running away because they think their territory has been invaded or there’s no place for them. How can I introduce the new cat to the other two without upsetting any of them too much?

Okay, so I got a new cat about 1 year old like 4 weeks ago, and i already have 2 cats both about 2. And My cats hate the new one, if they see her they’ll hide and not come out. We’ve been keeping her in my room. My one cat Precious, if my new cat gets near her will grow and hiss like crazy. Nothing seems to be working.

Hi, I just got a new cat and I have introduced him to my old cat on several occasions but it seems my old cat doesn’t like him because she consistently growls and hisses at him, while all he does is meow and try to approach her. How can i get the old cat to like the new one? And how long will it take?
