Elora born 12-21 asked: My cat is 4 years, my friend has a cat she can nolonger have so I plan on taking this cat on monday, I am afraid that fur will fly, my cat has never been around another animal, the new cat has and is ok with other pets? Any suggestions on how to introduce them with out getting hurt in the process? I have a large house so I can seperate them, but that will only work for a few days..

noseyone asked: I think the cat became scared of the baby when he was little and less able to control how hard/soft he touched the cat. Now he is older, and when he pets the cat, appropriately, the cat bits him! Anyone have any helpful ideas of how to get these two co-habitating peacefully?

The kitten is about 9 weeks old and the dog is about 4 years old. The dog is harmless with anything and she just gets very curious around animals which can sometimes lead to a chase. Especially with our other cat who is starting to get used to the dog after 4 years.
Any tips for getting the kitten to not be scared of the dog?
