In my part of the country, many people shoot them. That is not always an option.

Talk to your other neighbors. Chances are that you are not the only neighbor that has a problem with these cats. Several neighbors, banding together, may have more influence than you alone.

If I was in your situation, I would advise my neighbor that I was going to live trap all of the cats that I could and take them to the local pound. You can buy a live cage trap at any farm supply store for around $20.00. It could cost your neighbor a lot of money to get their cats back from the pound.

You might want to call your local health department and or animal shelter to find out what the law regarding stray animals is in your area. It could be that the authorities will take care of the problem for you.

I do know that cats HATE TEATREE OIL, don’t put it on your car tho’ maybe a cloth with some on nearby. They dont like marigolds either.

Spray them with the water hose.Cats hate getting wet.A couple of times getting wet should keep them away.

By the way, many cities/counties allow cats to run free so it may not be against the law but some private communities have rules against it. Having cats around help keep other pests away so it’s not always a bad thing. They’re also very sweet when you get to know them.

Put 2 dog houses beside your car with a rothwhiler in one and on the other side a couple of german shepards.

My favourite way, get one of those high powered water pistols, every time you see one nearby, squirt it, they will soon get the message, it’s harmless but they’ll hate it.

Rubbing orange rinds or spraying orange scented spray on your car may work. Cats seem to dislike that smell.

You should talk to your neighbors too, and if they refuse to do anything, call the police or animal control, at least they can scare some sense into your inconsiderate neighbors.
