I have found out that the best toys are those that cost little or no money at all. My cat love to play with the paper towel roll, the toilet tissue roll. She love to play with drinking straws, I see her little teeth prints all over it. I rolled up a sock and put a rubber band around it she love to play with that too. Try the small hairy mouse, That hit with my cat. Cats love objects that hangs and my cat love to play in boxes. I put her straws, mouses, tissue rolls in her box. Every time she takes them out I will put them back in the box. Over and over again.m Just one last thing, my cay love to play in the box that I purchase bottle water in. She get inside and looks at me through the plastic on the top. Sometimes I am looking for her and there she is in the box watching me through the plastics

My cat seems to love the top to a gallon milk container the best....crazy, I know...but he will bat that thing around for half an hour....the laser pointer thing works well, too. I don't think you need to buy anything elaborate...just find something small that rolls, or makes a noise....cats are naturally curious....my cat even plays with the empty roll at the end of a paper towel roll...place it upright on the floor...it drives him nuts...he will attack it and bite it and kick it....crazy animal.

It depends on the cat... the laser pen works well... I use one and I get one of my cats to go flying up the drapes. Scrunchy ones are ok, any toy will be fine.... just get some catnip, most pet stores sell it, rub a bit on and watch kitty go nuts! I rub catnip all over the scratching post and I swear they become possessed, but they get going and they tire themselves out.

I have 2 cats i have been using a little mouse which has a light built inside you can flash it somewhere and the cat chases it. My cat is really into it, I bought mine at a WalMart in the pet toys section.
