Go 2 the store and buy a rubber band ball. u can take of the rubber bands and fling them so she will chase them. or if she gets bored w/ that just throw the ball. u can also use your fingers and drum them on the table. my cat loves to chase my fingers around.

The best thing about cats is you don't have to spend money on toys. Anything you might find in your home is good enough for them... strings, paper balls, straws, wool, shoelaces, feathers, bells... even insects.
Try putting a fly or another flying insect inside a transparent plastic bottle (with the cap on, of course) and your cat will love it!

Bows, balls, ribbon, string, those milk plastic things on the bottle, ummmm.......milk caps, hair scrunches are ok, straws, feathers, paper balls, old shoes, pretty much anything. Cats like to play with anything. Take a small item and toss it in the air. For the next couple days, that will be its favorite toy!! Oh, fans that have dangly stuff and go slow. Those are cool. ANYTHING!! Or, GET ANOTHER CAT!!!!!!! That could help. Good luck!!

bake some chikin or fries or sumthin on tinfoil, eat the chicken and roll up the tinfoil and give it to kitty. Theyll love it. Better yet, put a wee bit of tuna in a ball of foil and watchthem try to tear it apart to get to the tuna(they eventually will) ONE DAY USE ONLY!!!!! Be sure to watch your kittens with that one because you dont want them to hide it and then u have to smell it for days.UGH By the way, you could just buy some yarn and let them track it around the house--my cats love to do that, but beware of where you walk, and the downside is that you have to roll it back up. My cats even chase balls of their own fluff!

okay, so i know people have already told you this, but here i go. never, never actually SPEND money on a cat toy. we tried, but our kitten, now cat, didn't play with any of them. instead, try these (sorry if i'm being repetitive):

- paper grocery bag
- cardboard boxes
- wads of paper
- string

we did purchase two things which our cat enjoys. they were: a rod with a string & ball hanging off it (from the dollar store haha) and toy mice (with catnip, i do believe). of course, put catnip on anything and they'll love it. the trick is, you never really have to buy them anything NEW to play with, it's already lying around your house.

PS to the question in your answer to my question (wow, that's confusing...haha). yes, people actually do ask that question. i see it almost every time i'm on here. so i decided to do a little experiment, and had no idea people would attack me for it. but it was kinda funny. haha =) thank you for being sane.

Don't bother buying proper cat toys. They are often expensive and kittens quite often don't find them that entertaining

Heres the best bit..............You can make your kitten very happy with the most simplest and cheapest things of all.

Scrunched up tin foil
Scrunched up paper
Milk bottle tops
String
a cardboard box with cut outs so he can hide and jump out and pounce.
Even Scrunchies lol

anything is a toy to a kitten and they usually get more pleasure and stimulation from the above

I know what you mean about lack of toys of cats and cats need toys more than dogs do. you can use a crumpled up piece of wax paper, boxes, cats love boxes, empty water bottles string (PLEASE NEVER leave the string un attended, cats will eat it and get obstructions in the intestines)

go to your grocery store and ask for banana boxes they have a hole on the bottom and a few holes on the sides and what I do is I put it upside down and I put their toys in it and they can go in and get the toys they want to play with out of there and you don't have all your toys laying all around the apartment. you can also cut their nails and put them in there and tap on the outside of the box or put your finger in one of the holes and your cat will try and get your finger, it's a lot of fun except when the claws are long. lol!!
