cats are very social, in the wild they live in communal groups. the strong bring food for the sick, all moms raise the kittens in one nursery where all duties, including nursing are shared. if one mom dies, the moms raise her kittens.

if one cat thinks a predator is nearby, he will go into a defense posture while he investigates, the others will see this and do the same, even though no one else sees the predator. they are ready to defend the pride because one cat thought he saw something.

i would guess, yours see the dancing as a warning, that you are being chased by something or are preparing for an attack. so, your cats are on high alert, looking for the danger. Jr. is angry
