You either have to stick with dogs, or cats. You cant do both. Im lucky that my dogs and cats get along.... my cat even get along with the horses!! My orange cat, elliot... is the only problem we have!! He goes fishing in the saltwater fish tank! :( I dont think you can do that.

Separate them. To introduce. ..Put the cat in one room, dog in the other...close the door. The dog (and cat) can smell each other and firstly get over that and then hold the cat (keeping in mind it might freak and try and get away and also scratch) some distance from the dog and let them deal with that situation. Introduce slowly over time.
