Cats hate the smell of moth balls. When a stray cat used to spray on my front porch, and causing my indoor cat to pee in the front hallway, I bought small tin containers and filled them with mothballs and the stray cats stayed away from my porch.

You could try this with your roof but you might want to get heavier containers so they don’t blow off the roof. When the cat gets a whiff of the mothballs they won’t want to be on your roof.

Try a spray from the pet shop or citrus peel. Avoid ammonia.

Well, you know how people have those owls to keep birds away, well, you should get a dog one for your roof! Take away the way they are getting up, for example, a tree. Also, see if there is a smell that cats hate but doesn’t hurt them and put it on the roof. Plus try putting catnip in their litter boxes. They might like the smell.

find where they jump up to the roof and put something slippery there so they fall. If they fall one time they will never go back up.

thats odd.. on your roof.. but anyway, theres stuff at the stores that you can use to spray where you dont want them to go.
