What type of cat Breed has a large muscular build with very large nose and eyes?

cat
J J asked:

We just adopted a new cat, and he is very large and has the hugest set of eyes and nose I have ever seen on a domestic at. This cat is huge and muscular. I know he is not a purebred, but figured he must be a mix of a very large cat breed, and couldnt find anything with his facial build on the internet. Any ideas?

He would simply be a Domestic Short Hair (or a Domestic Medium Hair or a Domestic Long Hair). He probably has so many cat “breeds” in him that it’s impossible to tell exactly what went into making him. I saw a siamese mix at the shelter the other day with ENORMOUS blue eyes. It happens to ‘em all. Java

Unless you have papers to prove otherwise, odds are your cat is no breed at all - just like over 97% of the cats on this entire planet. Cats were domesticated THOUSANDS of years ago and breeds only established in the last 100 or so. So most cats aren’t a breed or even a mix of breeds - they’re simply domestics. Café Mocha Valencia
