Yes. quiet and secluded would be an ideal place for a single nursing cat to raise her kittens. she takes them there because she is probably afraid of all the people that go by, thinking that they will kick her kits. So just keep her in a place where people don't go as much.
like a closet or laundry room....

when my cat had kittens (4) I used my spare bedroom with a huge dog carrier which I removed the door and placed towels and/or blankets in there and mommy just needed to come out to eat or litterbox and they stayed in there nice and comfy

My mama-cat took her kittens to the back my closet after I had a nice bed for them! I guess away from traffic and a hidden place was better for them. She let me put a blanket underneath the kittens. Go figure? If you take them to your closet I think that she will like that because it is close to you and away from everyone. Good luck!

Our cat loves a seldom used closet. She will want to be where she feels hidden. If you mess with the kittens too much, she will move them no matter where you put them. I'm with cleaning under the bed, giving her an old blanket, and leaving her be.

i left mine in the bathroom also with a dim nightlight and food for the mom. Also keep them warm in a cat bed by using blankets or towels. Also keep the litter box nearby so it is easy to get to.

hi she has taken them under the bed because she thinks its safe for them, try and get her a place which is really quiet and is not in a busy traffic area!
would it be poosible to put a fleecey blanket under the bed for her and the kittens?
also clear away anything that might not be safe!
ggod luck! :)
