Sometimes after eating, Spot will make the same motions that she makes after she poops. Do cats bury uneaten food, or does she hate the canned stuff from Wal*Mart?

Because the foods not good enough. There snobs. There telling you the food you just gave them is s h i t and they want something better. My cat used to just spit the food in my face and say”I’ll come back when you can give me what i deserve not this cheap s h i t!!”.
My cats do the same thing!! I just laugh at them. Its possible its because it is highly scented and doesn’t want others to find it so they think they are burying it for later. They just are not successful are they?!
No she/he shouldn’t even do it. That can isn’t good for her to do that because moist food should be out 1-2 hours or that won’t be good so she may or may not like it.
Hahaha! I love how you put that. Anyway, it is instinctive; our cats wild ancestors used to bury their remaining food after eating so that other animals couldn’t find it. Great snack for later.

Nah, this is totally normal for a cat. They bury any uneaten food for later, and wanna hide it from any other animals that might steal it!
